Valencia is a port city on Spain’s South-Eastern Orange Blossom Coast, where the Turia River meets the Mediterranean Sea. It is known for the City of Arts and Sciences, with amazing structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum.
Valencia also has many beaches, including some within Albufera park, a wetlands reserve with a lake, walking trails and bird-watching. In the coldest month, January, the maximum temperature can range up to 21°C while in August, the warmest month, temperatures during the day can reach 34°C, while the average sea temperature is 26°C.
Valencia is full of beauty whether it be its architecture or just its nature or parks. There is no shortage of activities to choose from in Valencia, including go karting, golf, baby bull running, cruises and of course a range of exhilarating watersports! Football fans can also go on a tour of Valencia FC’s stadium. When night rolls around, why not take part in a cocktail class or enjoy a typically Spanish fiesta.
